1000 CCA START UP (Part # 175-4390)

The 175-4390 is designed for road applications where the number of start ups per day is not very frequent and where the number of times the switch is turned for accessories is also rather limited. It is an outstanding option in extremely cold climates and it is ideal for conventional truck cabs with systems of 2, 3 or 4 batteries.

DEEP START UP AND CYCLE (Part # 175-4370) 825 CCA

Due to its exclusive design, the double purpose battery 175-4370 has the high CCA amps recommended for most truck applications, in order to provide our customers the additional protection needed for the use of light accessories. It provides an excellent combination of start up power, cycle capacity, resistance to vibration, and system capacity. Ideal for trucks with systems of 2, 3 or 4 batteries.

DEEP START UP AND CYCLE (Part # 175-4360) 710 CCA

Select this deep cycle model with one of the highest amps in the industry. Recommended for trucks with a rest cabin, refrigerated trailer, busses and school transports. This outstanding deep cycle battery can be used to switch from a 3+1 system to a 4 – (2840 CCA) which will provide a longer life in those applications where the engines sit idle for long periods of time or when cab accessories or current converters are used.

Resistance to Vibration

The plates are fixed both on top and bottom as a protection against vibration. The plates are thicker, heavier and cast (not welded). Caterpillar batteries are designed according to Caterpillar specifications, and must withstand a 100-hour vibration test, which represents a standard 5 times the industry's standard.

Heavy Duty Connectors

The forged terminals provide maximum strength and resistance to the acid attack.

Minimum Water Consumption

You will never have to add water. A Calcium and Lead alloy in the positive and negative plates reduces the production of gasses and water consumption.

Resistance to Vibration

The reinforced polypropylene housing has a high resistance to impacts and provides additional protection to last even under the most demanding situations. The lateral brick-type design will withstand flexing and drilling. The waffle-type design at the bottom will withstand stone puncturing to the housing. The part number is engraved on the cover to ease the referencing at the time of replacement.

Increased Power

The extra heavy screens, with an optimum combination of acid and lead oxide paste, increase the output amperage providing the additional power necessary for the start up in extremely hot or cold conditions.
